Scary Video Games

Well, as I am bored, and have to go to work in an hour, I decided to have a little fun.

I just bought a servial horror game last night. A classic, and it cost a pretty penny. And it got me thinking: "What are some of the scariest moments in video game history?"

So here they are, in no certain order.

Resident Evil 2: When the Licker jumps through the glass window/mirror. I fell out of my seat when I saw that happen.

Silent Hill 2: When James first sees Pyramid Head staring at him in the apartment level. I had no idea what the hell that thing was, and I was freaked out for the rest of the game.

Siren: When Risa is in the hospital and comes into contact with her sister, Mina. But she's not human anymoer.

Silent Hill 3: When Heather gets locked into that room with the mirror, and she can see her own reflection starting to rust.

Haunting Ground: Any part with Danellia. But for some reason, when Danellia bashes her head against the window and takes the long peice of shattered glass as a weapon.

Resident Evil: Remake: Lisa Turner chasing Chris through the forest. Creepy.

Clock Tower: Jennifer walking home and spying that someone is following her.

Resident Evil 4: Not a very scary game, but loads of fun. I think when Leon is in the village at night is the scariest part.

The Thing: Walking into the lab, and seeing dead bodies everwhere.

Silent Hill: When Harry locks the chain with the ring in the kitchen. And after he does so, he hears something trying to get out of the cabnent. Even scarier, when he doesn't lock the chain, and get's dragged away by. . .something.

Fatal Frame: Getting the masks and putting them in order. Or just seeing the shadows of the ghosts in the windows. I got all freaked out.

Silent Hill 4: This is really small, but talking to Jasper in the woods, it was just so. . .frightning. Him telling Henry about a cult that used to tourcher kids. Also, the small things that happen in Henry's room. Like seeing Robbie the Rabbit point and you through the hole in the wall. Richard pointing at Eileen's room from his window. A head falling past his Henry's window, or looking through his peephole and seeing an image of himself all bloody and possessed.

In conclusion, all these games are scary. And I'll add more when I think of more moments later. But the winner of the sacriest games are the Silent Hill series. Resident Evil may be the grandad of servival horror, but Silent Hill is more horror. Resident Evil is more Science Fiction.

Damn, I wish I could remember more great moments.
